$538.67 is in checking. $2530.24 in savings. $31,686.97 Smith Barney. Christy distributed the Treasurer's report & explained the reason for expenses on the report. The board members felt that there are a lot of improvements that could be made to the area but due to financial limitations the changes will need to be postponed. Christy will transfer money to the checking account to pay the water bill and fix the spa leak. She also said she will send out statments to homeowners within a few weeks. Martha asked to have her statement sent via e-mail and suggested sending statements via e-mail to all homeowners that the Board has an e-mail address for. Christy said she will ask to have a break-down of services on the irrigation invoice.
President's Report
Joseph presented a proposal from A & S paving for road maintenance in Presidio Villas. The price on the proposal was $37,000. Joseph felt that this was a good price for the work but he would like to get another estimate from pavers. There was discussion on the price paid for the Presidio Villas website. Joseph will see if we can get a refund on what we have paid so that we may get a free Facebook account or another free website. Joseph said he would like to put together a newsletter to send to all homeowers.
Committee Reports
Pool Committee
Everyone on the Board agreed that the pool looks good and they would like to get the spa in working order. To save
money Joseph will do some of the work on the spa and then the pool personnel will finish up the work. Joseph
said that we are limited in moving forward on projects due to budget constraints. The Board members walked the pool
area after the meeting and discussed putting desert vegetation by the fence to help cut down on vandalism. Signage
by the pool was discussed, it was agreed that the missing signs need to be replaced with signs that state pool and
party rules.
Landscape Committee
Christy said she would like to see some more tables in the ramada area instead of the sand. The sand in the ramada
area will remain until there is more money in the budget to make improvements. Joseph said he would like to do some
landscaping near the pool. He also discussed doing some landscaping in the front of Presidio Villas by the sign. He
suggested getting rid of the rock work in front and putting in desert landscape. He will get an estimate for this
New Business
Martha said that this will be her last meeting for the year since she will be out of the country for 8 months.
